Our wine community in SA is tight-knit; wine runs as thick as blood around here. You might say this collision of offspring it was inevitable. When Reginald Lester Tolley met Judith Penfold Hyland in 1945, sparks flew, and romance quickly blossomed. Reg and Judith Anne married in 1947, and Penley was conceived as a jocular, hypothetical hybrid business name. Maybe, one day.
